HCA 200 - Prin Epidemiology & Pub Heath
Students will learn about epidemics and the spread of disease to understand, characterize, and promote health at a population level. By applying the concepts learned in this course to current public health problems and issues, students will understand the practice of epidemiology as it relates to real life and makes for a better appreciation of public health programs and policies. Designed for those with a clinical background, the course will provide tools for critically evaluating the literature and skills to practice evidence-based medicine. Prerequisite: HCA 150.
