BIO 200 - Cell Bio & Molecular Genetics |
This course provides an introduction to cell biology and molecular genetics and is intended for sophomore biology majors. The course focuses on four major areas: fine structure of cells, intra- and intercellular communication, energetics, and the molecular organization and transfer of genetic information. Experimental design, methodology, and current biotechnological applications will be considered. Prerequisites: BIO 103 and 104.
